My husband and I could not have been happier with our decision to use Beth as our wedding coordinator. Having been a bridesmaid in several friends' weddings, Beth's playful "Wrangler" alias hit home with me. I have witnessed firsthand the "wrangling" that is required to harmoniously merge all of the elements of a successful wedding -- venue, caterer, rentals, lighting, sound, DJ, officiant, wedding party, guests, etc. I knew that, as the bride, I did not want to be the one charged with that task on the big day!
From our first phone conversation, Beth was on-board with my vision and supportive of my DIY plans. She provided helpful vendor recommendations and ideas for sourcing materials, and asked all the right questions to raise issues that I never would have considered. As I am located in D.C., it was also helpful to have someone local who could, for example, visit the barn and check the whether we required additional lighting or whether full-sized coach buses can fit down the farm's driveway. Beth further liaised with the venue manager, my caterer, and the rental company to cost-effectively manage our orders -- especially when we decided last minute to move the ceremony from a field to the barn when the temperature plummeted. It was a great stress-reliever to have these details handled by someone else in the days/weeks before my wedding.
Finally, on the wedding day itself, Beth was a savior. Due to a raucous Halloween party on the night before, the barn had yet to be fully cleaned when I arrived to set up the DIY table decor. As I was on a tight timetable for getting ready, it was impossible to finish setting up everything as I envisioned and I frantically called Beth for help. She came right over and handled everything to the last detail, from arranging our escort cards in alphabetical order to decorating the altar. While I had hoped to do much of this work myself, I was relieved to hand it over to Beth because I knew it would be done perfectly! When I finally walked down the aisle and saw the finished product, I couldn't have been happier. Luckily, the rest of the day went according to plan, although Beth was critical to ensuring dinner, cake cutting, first dance, etc. happened on time, and she stayed until the last guest left to ensure the clean-up was done properly.
We truly believe that hiring Beth is the best wedding choice we made. No matter what degree of assistance you think you will need, Beth will be able to accommodate you and step in when things inevitably go awry. Thanks for everything, Beth!
